HUGE pic, my handwritig is crap so I didn't make it smaller.

I did these is costa rica. These are two of the pages, there were like three more, which I don't plan to upload.

Archie and Chris are two of my characters from a story (sort of?) thing. Essentially, nothing out of the ordinary happens. Just a town with a lot of similarities to mine, just with a few more interesting people. No fantasy involved in their world, other than my sad fantasy haha~

I DON'T give my characters happy endings. I just don't, I can't, happy endings bore me. Of all the pairings occurring between the 9ish main characters (actually, six main, the rest and more are important side characters), only one actually ends with marriage (but marriage isn't the end of anything, is it?).

Chris is everything I'm not. She might be loosely based on my sister, or at least a lot of things she does and things that happen to her are. She has your typical though past bullcrap (no, her family's not dead), lives with her bum of a cousin and is trying to raise her little brother. Drinking problem, gets her in a lot of trouble.

Archie (Arc) is a good boy. Rigid upbringing, navy dad, does everything right. He's timid and spends a year in high school being walked all over by a psycho posessive girlfiend

These two are a strange kind of almost-an-item. He's the one who ends up helping her out and looking out for her, and helps her through a lot of mess. I preeeettty much love these two. I erased most of the scribbled text, since this is more thinking than anything, and a lot of it was crap.


also, first almost-maybe-just-after kiss I've ever drawn, don't cut me please D: some of these are pretty bad, given I've gotten a little better in weeks since.
I think that's it. Will be scrapped later due to... sketchbook work
